Volcano (Green Surge) is an edition created for Primary Information by Shahryar Nashat. Cast in acrylic resin-gypsum in the artist’s studio in Paris, the pair of sculptural objects form a flamboyant, two-toned volcano sculpture when pressed together or function as weighted bookends when separated. The work is produced in an edition of 10 and is hand-numbered and signed on the bottom by the artist.
